Raw Pasta

me: yo man
Tom: hey
sup
me: borrrrred
16:36 trying to come up with my perfect pub
wanna go into business with me?
Tom: sure why not
me: nice
it's gonna be in chiswick, have log fires, large garden and a fine selection of ales and scotch
16:37 as well as comfy seating and nice rugs
Tom: can there be a film quiz fatbox thing?
16:38 me: there will def be an amazing pub quiz
Tom: yeah but i want a fatbox
me: hmm maybe
i also want comedy and acoustic jazz
maybe not the jazz
Tom: yeah the jazz is a dealbreaker for me
16:39 me: maybe i'll just have ella and louis playing during winter
Tom: that's alright
live jazz can do one though
me: yeah ok
16:40 we can have jeff buckley-alikes playing on thursdays or something
16:41 Tom: haha
me: although a capella is banned
16:42 Tom: what about that awesome album version of back ii life
me: i also want molton brown in the toilets and dyson airblades
not even that
Tom: dyson airblades are a definite yes, or the really powerful things they have in wembley stadium
me: also i want an old fashioned barbers inside the pub
16:43 offering 2 quid cut-throat razor shaves
Tom: how big is this pub?
me: pretty large
16:44 Tom: sounds huge
me: large enough to have a balcony around the top where me and you can look down and observe goings on
Tom: can we piss on everyone?
me: nah just smoke cigars and scowl
16:45 Tom: but what if i need a piss?
me: go toilet, it's got a fucking airblade
Tom: oh yeah, good call
entice people into the toilet with the airblade to stop them pissing on other people
clever
me: it's the main reason they exist
16:46 Tom: brief detour away from this for a second
have you seen that pasta ad with tim lovejoy?
me: no..
16:48 me: don't have sound
but looks FUNNY
Tom: anyway
me: i want to see the stooges again
that raw power gig was pretty raw
16:49 Tom: it was
best i've seen them
i like the stooges
their singer is funny
me: it's their best album
Tom: it's the best album
16:50 me: what
Tom: what
me: hmm
16:51
Tom: i didn't realise kaiser chiefs are actually named so because lucas radebe played for kaizer chiefs
16:57 me: yeah man
it was a clever reference
Tom: it was, but it was cleverererer when i thought you'd just found that out yourself, rather than it being the publicised reason behind their name
me: oh
:(
16:58
me: you heard admiral fell promises btw?
it's well bloody good
Tom: who's it by?
me: sun kil moon
Tom: oh right
no
16:59 i'll spotify it later though
me: get it, it's brilliant
Tom: i like ghosts of the highway or whatever it's called, that's pretty much the only sun kil moon i have
i like the red house painters though
their name's a bit like the red hot chili peppers, if you squint
17:00 me: lol
oh tiny cities is a good one too
Tom: cool, i'll check it out
me: its all modest mouse covers
Tom: sounds shit, i have to say
will give it a listen though
17:01 me: does this count as rating an album btw?
Tom: yeah why not
17:08 me: niiiice

VERDICT:

RAW POWER by IGGY AND THE STOOGES: GOOD
